CELEBRATING 17 YEARS: OUR MOST MEMORABLE GUESTS
Our finale week continues with a look back at some of our most memorable guests from the past 17 years. Latoyia was in her house when her mother’s boyfriend set the home on fire. She suffered burns on over 70% of her body. She first appeared on our show at age 16 to share her story of survival. She has had over 300 surgeries and is now a mother, and motivated even more to share her story and help others. Beth and Amy were twins who were addicted to drugs. They captivated our audience back in 1999 as we followed their story through addiction and recovery, and all the roadblocks in the way. We met Joey at age 12 when he was fighting the stigma of having HIV at such a young age. Back then with little information about HIV/AIDS, Joey gave a face to the disease. Fifteen years later, how is Joey doing now? Lorrie and Daniela were a mother and daughter who shared an addiction to meth. Lorri accepted our offer to go to a rehab center right after her appearance on the show. Have they finally kicked the habit? Danielle appeared to be losing her 6-year battle with anorexia. Painfully thin, her parents, Rose and Mike came to our show for a final intervention. How is Danielle doing now? Find out the incredible updates on these amazing guests!
