Today's show will try to bring help to two families in crisis. In one family, the parents and their teens are at odds and in the other, the bond between mother and daughter are being tested. Will Montel be able to help these two families get back on the right path toward healthy relationships? We'll meet Kimberly, a mom who says that everything was great with her 13-year-old daughter Erica until last April when she befriended Nicole and became negatively influenced. Erica started disobeying family rules and getting into drugs. Erica says her mom is never around for her so she chooses to stay with Nicole and her mother Kim. Kim believes the blame should be placed on Erica’s mother. Dr. Darlene Powell-Garlington, a noted psychologist, will be on the show to counsel the two feuding families so that they can get to the root of their problems.
